Authorities seize ‘hair-like fibers,’ Costco receipt, washer, dryer from missing Richardson girl’s home

Seized inventory lists show that FBI detectives seized a floor mat, USB drive and DNA swabs from the Acura, officials said.

Authorities also seized 47 items from the Mathews’ home, including five cellphones, three laptops, trash bags and a digital camera. 

Richardson detectives said they’ve filed at least 30 other search warrants as part of the investigation.

Items seized from the home include: 

  • Trash bags, shopping bag, roll of fabric
  • Blue string and dark “hair-like fibers”
  • Piece of red plastic
  • iPhone with case
  • Vacuum contents
  • Wooden spoons
  • Exam gloves
  • Fitted sheet
  • Five pairs of shoes
  • Two pairs of boots
  • Wooden fork and spoon wall-hanging
  • Pink T-shirt
  • iPad
  • Blanket
  • Washer and dryer
  • Hair
  • Changing table cover
  • Internet router
  • DNA swabbing
  • Gloves and dish scrubber
  • Contents of power equipment
  • Piece of red plastic
  • Desktop computer
  • Three laptop computers
  • Five cell phones
  • Digital camera with adapter
  • Folder with banking documents
  • Adoption papers
  • Joint banking account book
  • Financial paperwork
  • Marriage certificate
  • Birth certificate
  • Medical bills
  • Tax return

Items seized from the Acura MDX include:

  • Floor mat
  • DNA swabs

  • Interior sunroof slide cover
  • Seat belt
  • Cabin air filter
  • Radio module
  • Display monitor

Items seized from the family’s Lexus include:

  • Costco receipt dated Oct. 5, 2017
  • Driver’s side floormat
  • 5 DNA swabs from pedals, steering wheel, gear shift, driver controls

Six DNA swabs were also seized from the family’s Toyota Sienna van.
