Game wardens with the Texas Parks and Wildlife using cadaver dogs found the leg of a man that was severed in a boating accident on the Fourth of July.
Game Warden Ricky May told San Angelo LIVE! that the leg of Jeremy Armenta was discovered around 9:45 a.m. Friday in the same area of Lake Nasworthy where it was severed.
According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, Armenta and a friend were riding in the back of a boat with their legs hanging outside. When the boat went in reverse, the men were pulled under where a propellor struck and severed Armenta’s leg.
Armenta underwent surgery and his condition is unknown at this time.
